I called RE about 1 of my missing payments that had appeared then disappeared....they said there was a glitch in their system (:rolleyes:) and it would be rectified by this morning. Ive just checked and yes my payment is now there!!:T

You're not - I'm not on Facebook either:D I've not received the Helix email even though I am registered with most of the mystery shopping companies.

Can I throw my 2p worth in?

I'm a relative newbie. However I have read all the thread and all the old threads. What I found was loads of useful info and loads of chit-chat. The chit-chat's nice but makes it hard to find the useful info.

So - what I think we need to do is collect up all the useful info (I know some of it is in the first post but a lot isn't). Put is somewhere, probably on an external website, and then encourage people to read it there.

This thread could then be more "chit chat" - the alerts thread just for alerts, and we could even start another "serious" thread for urgent help with jobs.

Ideas and thoughts please?

RE are not in my good books right now! If anyone else is doing fuel call I am not sure it is worth the hassle. I had to select a choice of two dates for call 1st June or 2nd June. I selected the 2nd. I have queried it as I was not called yesterday and now I am being told call can me any day all week! Ridiculous as on 1st for example I was 70miles away doing another job for them!
I have emailed back querying this. I have also been told if I have not been called by Friday it will be released from me but I wont be paid. So I am not too happy and I have asked for it to be released - I will never be taking another one of their jobs where you get the call after all of this

As for missing payment am now waiting for a response... will let you know next stage when I know it ...

First of all I'm not sure who "everyone" is who finds Timmne annoying. I don't and I'm not sure I'm too thrilled at someone claiming to speak for me.
Yes we have a certain way of doing things on here -with good reason it makes the thread easier to use and therefore helps us all earn. Often (and it's no means an MSE thing I've seen this stuff on the net since the early 90s) new people come along and don't see why certain conventions need to be followed or think it shouldn't apply to them or just don't think to read the first page. It happens-getting pulled out of shape doesn't do anything to solve it-but a nice private PM often does

Some regulars do come across as a bit territorial -understandably in many cases they've helped shaped the community (not just here-again this is common on most forums) and yes I've personally felt come on too strong but I understand why and yes I roll my eyes at some of the repeative posts -or the chatty alert posts too

I personally appreciate everyone who contributes I've learned a lot and therefore earned more both from regulars and from the new or less frequent posters and I thank ALL of you.

I don't expect perfection -I find it doesn't make for a friendly atmosphere and I visit here for that friendliness as well as the info. So Timmne get off that high horse -the altitude is no good for you and you KNOW we appreciate you We all vent from time to time but today's chatterer on Alerts can turn into tomorrow's useful poster once they get a handle on how it works here -and you catch a lot more flies with honey than vinegar so keep with the nice PMs (like you sent me when I messed up and named the client and hinted at the MS company instead of t'other way around) because I personally think that does work better. Gentle guidence rather than a big stick

OK I've had my say -let the flames start- but this is written in the spirit of unity not to upset anyone-I promise !

me neither - ive only registered and starter ms in last few weeks so if i get email ill let everyone know as it means system and our emails must have been compromised in recent weeks only. seeing as Bare gave my/our details out I presume they are the obvious company to blame :rolleyes:

Couldnt agreee more ... I dont post on here huge amounts so you dont really know me Timmne but I do know how very helpful you , and many others are , so can I just say a big thank you to you . :beer:
