This was directed at Timmne:"Annoyances"? As said earlier, no one makes you come to this thread and read the posts, maybe what you say annoys everyone else !?!
Nope, I can assure you, Timmne doesn't annoy "everyone else", he's probably the most respected contributor on this thread (he is in my eyes at least!)0 -

I've sent a message to them to see if I am still wanted but I don't know how quick they are - my last message took over a week to be answered so I might just have to go and do it anyway !!
I generally find they only reply to my messages if they're urgent, i.e. if a job might not get done or I can't express (:o) an assignment. Try emailing shopperassignmentsuk@gapbuster.com - that might get you somewhere, plus you'll have a record of the email sent. Final tip, start your subject header with URGENT - that ought to get it seen, it usually does!0 -
Morning all! Just wanted to add my twopenneth about the Helix email. Hope that's ok to say the name - I didn't think there was a problem about mentioning MS company names, just clients. And since I don't believe this is really an MS company anyway, I think that's ok. Let me know if I'm wrong and I'll edit this.
Anyway, I got this email, too. I definitely think it's spam because...
It starts off saying "I invited you to join Facebook a while ago". I don't recall ever receiving any invitation before. I'm NOT on Facebook and have never even been into the site. The email address it has gone to is my main one that I do use for MSing.
Let's face it, we all know that any decent MS company puts a couple of little obstacles in our way, like having to register and apply etc.... they don't just send you random emails inviting you to join.
I would be interested to know where they got my email address - but I'd also like to know where all those other people got my address - the ones who keep asking me if I want to make my thingymajig a bit bigger  (I'm a girl so I don't even have one of those, but I still get loads of emails about it!);)
Anyway, back on topic, I'll be deleting my Helix email as fast as my little fingers can find the delete button.0 -

It's interesting that you say that you're not on Facebook; this wipes out any cookie stuff happening with the ads or whatever on there....
I think someone's comandeered a list of names and email addresses from a MSing company we're all registered with - finding out which one would be a problem I guess but I think that's what's happened anyway..
You're right SC; it's not likely that an MSing company would need to email out to get shoppers - unless they're a startup and they're trying to rapidly increase their shopper base.0 -
I've just got my 2 days to go emails from GAP - these are the first two jobs I have had with them. The emails did not have any attachments so I have printed them and then from the website just a very brief overview - its a phone job. I cannot see questionnaire or anything else to print is this normal for them? Thanks in advance.0

Morning all
I noticed a few pages back that people were saying that RE payment details on the home screen were wrong or not accounting for jobs that had been done.
Is this still the case as I am missing several payments from the last week from a variety of clients.
Cheers Paul
Hi Paul that was me. My payment disappeared and I emailed them and they said it would be rectified by today and accounts know about it. Not happened so just about to email them again to check what is happening. :rolleyes:0 -

That's why I mentioned it. I'm probably the only person in the country who isn't on Facebook :rotfl: - so that narrows the field a bit! I think you're probably right about where they got our details. I have noticed an increase in spam to this email address recently so maybe something somwhere has been compromised... or maybe this company is just affiliated with Bare and they thought we wouldn't mind0 -

The current Gap phone jobs are very vague. In fact, in my opinion they are a waste of time, I really don't see what the phone company gains from them.
I'm not suggesting for one moment that anyone does this, but you could merely go in the store, pick a member of staff who takes your fancyand make a note of their name & description, pick up a brochure and walking out without talking to anyone. You can make the rest up.
I've picked up a few of them because I'm going to be in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to do them. At least when Gap used to do the major mobile phone store you had a set scenario to follow and more detailed questionnaire. We’ve had to remove your signature. Thats interesting as I did one friday (best fee offered yet!) and it seemed to show up then vanished, I wondered if this was because the uploaded receipt wont match my actual expenses but now you say that I wonder if it is more of an error, I will wait until Friday before contacting them!
