I received my second envelope from aba-i today, it took 27 days instead of the typical 15-20 days it takes them. I'm waiting for the main catalogue shop, pencil shop and the phone shop to pay now. It would probably be another week before the phone shops to pay up as they were done in the middle of the month.

I received one of my phone shops money yesterday, other two to come still plus catalogue and pencil shop.

Just had a really good laugh... hubby took the kids to a certain burger joint this evening, and paid with his debit card... and asked for a receipt. :cool:

You know what happened next don't you? Mad panic because the machine wasn't working so they gave him a hand-written receipt. Apparently it was my son who first noticed all the frantic cleaning around their table, and the manager popping over to make sure they had everything. :rotfl:

You've got to laugh, haven't you? Poor things will have a real panic when the MSer turns up (cos they think they've already been done)!!!!!

Can anybody who has accepted BARE mobile phone jobs tell me if you still have to do the ridiculous counting of all the display models on the higher paying of the two visits (if you don't know what I mean PM me, so I can talk fees), or if they've changed scenario?

Same thing happened in the last burger job I did. As soon as I asked for a receipt, the manager rushed to the counter to serve me and kept saying 'thank you'. I even got a check back while I was eating:D and of course the cleaner was around me all the time! They actually made me feel very uncomfortable.

Has anyone else noticed Bare and GFK are covering the same phone shops??? IS this usual practice?

Yes, I'm sure it would! The funny thing here though, is that it wasn't a job. Hubby and the kids just decided to call in on their way back from a day out.

The BARE visits are for a mobile phone manufacturer. The GfK visits, I presume, are for the phone shop themselves, or for another manufacturer?
