i got some jobs tuesday night as well but had weird problems. but there is a new policy that states you have 48hrs to set dates (i am a newbie so only policy i have known) so i think thats what it must mean. can you log back in and try going to that date section?

That's the thing the date is set as the 21st. I picked it (a choice of 2 dates only), and it's showing up in my calendar. I may just release them. The last thing I want to do is trek to the centre of town during rush hour, paying for goods with the chance of not getting reimbursed. I'll release then call in the morning and find out what that's all about. When I do find out I'll let you know. These 2 are the only ones that did that I have 6 jobs waiting to do and don't have to call anyone about the other 4.

    *sigh*

    Thanks for the responses.

Hey night owls. Bizarre, I know. I accepted the jobs and then it said

"You must now contact XXXXXX on XXXXX to enable you to proceed"

I accepted the jobs, and they both show up as accepted on my account. It was Tues a lil after 11pm. I picked a date for both, they both show up on my to do list.

Then the e-mail stating that I "need to set a date" otherwise they will be released.

Either this is some new policy for some assignments or their system is !!!!!!ed.

I picked a date at stage 2 of the application process for these.

This is totally baffling considering I'd done this company for RE before.

have they got dates next to them on the to do list? im really not the best helper :rolleyes:but when i selected one tuesday night i had the same thing initially as it showed on to do list but without the date so in stage 4 i then confirmed the date i wanted and it appeared on to do list section and that particular problem seemed to be rectified.

ive checked mine and stage 4 highlights the main bits and lets you change the date if need be - does your date show as set there? I think its a glitch as system was bizarre on tuesday night. why not try changing date for one job to another date on that screen and then back to the date you want and see if that rectifies it?

OK I'll try that before I release it. Thanks again. :)

thats ok, im sure its a weird glitch associated with tuesday night - they need a system that actually works accurately  if i was you i would not do them and lose the points as thats better than not being paid anything. they say if you call they can reinstate the points - in my case that has not happened so far but maybe they can for you.

    They have indeed.

But unlike you I can't even progress to stage 4. Stage 3 for me says set assignment date the telling me who to contact.

I have got a top marks so far so a loss of 4 points wouldn't matter but it's principal. I'm a fighter. I'll fight to the death for my 4 points

I had this a couple of weeks ago when I phoned they said it was because I had to go on specific date which was in the notes but the system could only be set for a period e.g Sunday to Sunday, hope that makes sense.

Thinking back I do remember applying for these and the job count being from 114 down to 77 for my areas. They had trickled down in a reasonable amount of time. Then after I accepted the 2nd job all 77 disappeared in an instant. I wonder if these are even meant to be done in the 1st place?

I'll release and call them in the morning. I just re-read the assignment notes. Says nothing about having to call RE to book the time. Thier flippin system. I was looking fwd to these as well. Oh well at least I can go have a late night/early morning pizza now and put on a movie.

But thanks a lot for everyone that helpes :A Much appreciated.
