Re. the Bare calls. I take it they are actual telephone calls, I have not done a job for them yet, Are they good to work for, as a newbie would I find them much the same as GR of Gfk for example.

Yes, they are telephone calls with a set enquiry. I have only done a couple of jobs for Bare because there isn't much in my area, but I found them to be very good.

There are some jobs where the client requests their 'best' shoppers. If you cancel jobs or lose points you can be blocked from seeing these. However, the points system isn't as straightforward as it looks. They work out their 'best' shoppers on a percentage system rather than how high your score is. This means that if you ever cancel a job, you then have less than 100% and you are no longer 'best'. I really wouldn't worry about it though. As far as I know, that only currently excludes you from Spanish style restaurants. Sorry if I haven't explained that very well.

Thanks for that - the first thing I ever did for RE I cancelled, so I had the sterling score of -2 for a while :rotfl:I have to say I can still see the spanish style restaurants so obviously it hasn't done me any lasting damage.

Just had an email from Bare. As I'm new to Bare I'm not sure what they are talking about. I've applied for jobs on the board so what are they doing differently at 5pm tonight?

From 17.00 O’clock today we will have all open shops on the Geo Map job board (http://geo.bareinternational.eu/) Please apply for anything you would like to complete and any feedback on the NEW system would be great. If you would like to apply before 17.00, you can still always visit your job board in your log.
    BRAND NEW PROJECTS

xxx - Retail shop with a twist.
xxxxxxxx - Circuit of 4-5 calls to garages.

    SPECIFIC HARD LOCATIONS
xxxxxx - Milton Keynes (Male) and Livinstone (Female) You NEED to have Bare Basics to complete this shop.

If you click on the link it takes you to a Google maps thing where it will show you the shops on a map and you can search within a certain distance of your home address (or any other address for that matter!)

I believe what they are saying is that after 5 you will be able to see those jobs on the map as well as the job board.

Can I suggest the Alerts thread includes MS in the title at least, it is confusing for other people I think currently? Only a suggestion, and I understand about it not saying mystery shopping to avoid people posting chat in it, but at the minute it is very unclear.
