But in a chilli.. it adds a smoooth silkyness mouthfeel that counterballances the heat.

Try it honestly... I think its the nougaty stuff in the middle that really makes it work but its delish.
Do a blind taste test on your family.
I have and Mars bar chilli ALWAYS wins...
You can make the chilli hotter than usual and it is still pleasnt to eat, it just gives you a nice after glow rather than a mouth scorch.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -
