Download and install everything you can thats been posted
If need be install them in SAFE MODE
Try running the lot in normal mode. if they fail then try running them in safe mode

If you need to use the net in safemode (to update or download) then run in SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING

I have been using SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING. I will try and see if I can run them from normal mode now as some of them would not download.

Put them on your desktop ready to install then boot into normal mode

None of the programs that I tried downloading in safemode are in normal mode.
I tried running Spybot search and destroy but it wouldn't run. I did a hijack this and will post this now.

Try this avira download ~
http://dl1.pro.antivir.de/package/rescue_system/common/en/rescue_system-common-en.exe
So long as it doesnt redirect it should download avira 'rescue system' with latest definition files so scan with that

I tried that one and it says 'Avira Rescue - CD Burning. No supported burning device found'. So I have saved it to an ISO file as they directed.
