You: Come on - you are offering a 30 day 500 text SIM only for £10 per month - with 100 mins of speech (unwanted) - you will have to do better than that - Can I add £5 internet to the 30 day 500 txt - £10 offer ?

I doubt they actually hire people for this kinda stuff, If they did, The trolling possibilites are endless, So yeah I think hes a robot.

It could be a real person but they just pick from pre typed responses to speed things up. They could be carrying out many chats at once.

The random chat to an advisor box pops up now and then when you browse through their shop/website. (Its the same with orange, if you decide you want to ask them if they're real too :rolleyes:)

I have used the Vodafone chat thing and i got the exact same robotic response as OP lol!

Vodafone one definitely sounds like a robot throughout - Three have their online chat - and found it useful - although the first 2 or 3 question/answers are definitely automated responses with some in between, overall they felt more real than the example of Vodafone given in this thread.

And you can bet your bottom dollar with Three if you go online, they will ask you if you are going to order right away and if you are going to then they can give you a £20 accessories voucher.

I had a chat with a Sky person a couple of months back and assumed he was just clueless - maybe he could have been a bot too
