What you need is a solicitor - someone you can tell the whole story too. Telling people on a forum PART of the story is not really sufficient to get an idea of what is likely to happen. The card sounds like the famous last drop and not the sum total of the harrassment... Exactly what will happen will depend on exactly what evidence she submits and quite probably the mood of the judge...
If you'd split up why would you send her a valentines card anyway!?!
I'd certainly not expect one from any of my ex's no matter how friendly the terms I was on with them were...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Bit of a difference to having your wife followed. Also why send a valentine card if you are no longer together and you knew it would be appreciated?~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

Yes but reading your previous posts in one you were disappointed that you weren't going to be able to say good bye to your ex in person. You sound as though you've found this rejection hard to accept and just because YOU think a valentines card is harmless clearly your ex sees it differently. And if you have been hiring PI's to check on her that REALLY creepy, smacks of being a stalker so no wonder she feels harrassed.
That DM account is a different kettle of fish TBH. Sending valentines cards to someone who no longer wants to be your wife is a bit strange. What on earth did you think it would achieve?I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Not sure why I'm bothering to reply to this again as I think the OP is a wind up but he already has a solicitor whose advice, if I remember correctly, brought about this current situation with suggestions of filing for a divorce, throwing out her clothes, changing the locks, hiring someone to follow her....0

Well, if it is a true story then I am glad she has taken a stand as you have clearly been making a nuisance of yourself!0

BH..wasnt it your wife who left you without telling you, and went to live in London with friends, saying it was over? (Apologies if im wrong).
I would suggest not bothering her anymore, and getting on with your own life and let her live hers in peace.0 -

"I was arrested for 3 counts of harassment WITHOUT violence (the non serious type of harassment)"
*rolls eyes* Because if you don't hit someone, it can't actually be causing trouble, right?
I hope this scares the hell out of you and you leave her alone. You clearly have no ideas of the impact of your action and need a policeman and a judge to explain it to you.Debt free 4th April 2007.
