boddy - sounds like dd is a bit jealous. can you sit her down and explain why it's important for you. I have often heard similar things muttered when people percieve that someone they love is giving too much time to a voluntary thing (church is another example)
rach I was thinking it sounds like jealousy too but cant figure out why. I think she wants me to sit at home knitting and taking it easy lol. I have tried talking to her before. Sorry to hear about your friend losing his job. There are people I work with who have disciplinary issues and done stuff but the wont get rid. Yet other people get short shrift for nothing.0 -
Am saving the link to the quirk post for later reading LOL

gtx - hugs; delegate, delegate, delegate!!
valli - I don't think I'm brave enough to post mine on that thread!!
Could I please ask for some flylady hugs and prayers for a ex-colleague of mine whose son has just died following a fight in a local pub? It happened on Tues eve and they had to turn off life support yesterday. It looks as if some Royal Marines were involved and a murder inquiry is underway. I also currently work with his SiL so know several people close to him. Thanks"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

froddy - of course, that sounds awful.
boddy - i would guess it's a combination of worry about you doing too much and a slight jealousy (perhaps too strong a work but you know what i mean)
I am going to turn the lappy off now as i've had a busy day and staring at a screen is not the best thing in the world!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

thank you and i have - ds and dd are having they're showers and dh is on starters orders for finishing the bathroom.
i'm not super human and i don't try to be but and i'm sorry to say this i think the extra housework i've been doing has caused this flair up. so my plan from now on is that everything has to get done but i'm not doing the lion's share anymore and i'm not going to be responsiblr for organising it - they all know about this place ( they all also think we're slighty mad) so when i'm having a particularly bad day they can get logged on here and see what needs doing!!!!! sorry rant over but my back has got me worn out and worn down

Evening
Been a lazy flybabe tonight. Had a tough day at works so didnt feel like doing much when I came in, luckily I didnt have to as DD had gone round a friends then to the pics, OH wanted to get himself a salad for tea, DS needed something quick so decided to have a sarnie, so I got an Iffit out of the freezer which I could microwave
.
Slipped out to get some dog food and then bought some nice new undie sets as a treat to cheer myself up.
Have only managed to paint my nails this evening so playing catch up tomorrow.
Hope everyone is ok and will 'see' you all at some point tomorrowMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
