    Have you tried your car?

I've been clearing out the car all day to get stuff back in the garage and do my freecycle listings, so it's not in there... I'll check tomorrow morning to see whether I left it in the gym, but its unlikely - I remember my gym bag being full when I dropped it back at the car before doing my shopping. Obviously there's a black hole in this house somewhere.

I've also got a constant sound of running water from the pipes at the moment... which I assume means that there is a leak outside the house (well, there isn't one in the house ) and the vibrations are coming in through the rising main. I'm not planning on calling the water company though, as I'm not on a meter, and apparently if you report the leak and it's between your property and the road you have to pay for it (I can't see how that works, given that I'm on a shared water supply). My neighbours are away (they don't live next door full time), so I don't know whether it's anything to do with them.

Hello all. only read the last page so apologies for all i've missed!

I'm enjoying a chilled evening in my pjs, though I will do the bathroom & study later, then I'm only behind on the living room, which I will try to do tomorrow.

I've found out informally that my interview will be either Mon 18th or Tues 19th, they're interviewing 7 others so by no means a walkover. Can see me spending lots of my holiday preparing, which is fine. Have also found out a good friend of ours has lost his job, really unfairly as there were 3 up for redundancy and they didn't get rid of the guy with loads of disciplinary issues :( friend is dyslexic and struggles to communicate so we're really crossing fingers for something else for me

soappie - not caught up but it must be your last day tomorrow - hope it is a good end for you. Think I know BFUP, hope it gets sorted, they should let them do the grafitti as they would be supervised. Glad to hear the restorative justice is worth it's salt ;)

greenbee - is it in the car boot?

boddy - sounds like dd is a bit jealous. can you sit her down and explain why it's important for you. I have often heard similar things muttered when people percieve that someone they love is giving too much time to a voluntary thing (church is another example)

Lady who passed out last night is ok, very bruised and has been to her dr who has advised an eye test, drinking and eating more.

off to try and catch up with a few pages at least!

Thanks Rach - yes - you do know BFUP she was involved from the start then left a couple of years ago...- and the restorative justice appears to be mainstreamed and actually available ;)

Also glad to hear about the lady who passed out last night is on the mend but I did do a double take over your post which said (in part).. "advised an eye test, drinking and eating more." :rotfl::rotfl:

yay, that's good to hear, i might use it as an example in my interview! Not directly relevant but good example of risk taking and mainstreaming!

I started reading these with a bit of a chuckle - then as I scrolled down I started to get a bit worried as I do some of those things - toilet roll facing the right way, all coat hangers in the wardrobe facing the same way (and the clothes on them facing the same way too!), the two light switches together which have to be the same!:eek::eek:, towels folded the same, and all lined up on the shelf with the folds the same way. What's happening to me? I used to think I was pretty sane, now I'm not so sure

Mind you I can now say that I am no longer a 'peggie' - I trained myself in the time I was away from flylady to deliberately use non-matching pegs. :D
