Handwashing is now finished :j:j and all items drying flat on top of towels on the heated airer...

... breakfast and lunch packed up and in the fridge for tomorrow, but I'm too tired to do my gym bag now so I'll swim in the morning as I don't have to leave as early, and go to the gym whenever I manage to leave Staines.

Let's hope I can get into the new building OK... which reminds me... I need to find a walking stick to take with me, just in case

Staines - such an appropriately named town! I had the misfortune to work v. near there for a while a few years ago. I have refused to work near there ever since... (apologies to all the nice people who live in Staines)

It's not through choice... they've moved us out of the Windsor office and into a refurbished shed on the Staines campus. I'll probably be in Windsor one day a week anyway... and I need to go to Leeds sometime soon... and apparently I have to work in Southampton for their world environment day event. I have SUCH an exciting life :rolleyes:

The campus isn't near Colnbrook by any chance? And let me know when you're in Soton. If I'm not on holiday and the public are allowed in, I might just come and heckle!

Nope - it's on the causeway in Staines. Campus is probably a rather grand title for a couple of ramshackle sites either side of the road with half-a-dozen buildings on them.

Southampton looks like being 1st June. If you're up to date on the WEEE directive and RoHS, you can come and help!
