Yes, not the best of journeys from you really - I work in West Horndon so have to deal with that bit of the M25 on a daily basis!

That stall I was talking about is right at the very front - as you walk over from the car park if you just head along the front edge of the market you should find it.

Thanks, I will definitly look out for it next time... it sounds great, actually there are loads of good stalls on there - the rugs were amazing prices this week and hubby got his work boots (steel toecaps) for £20, they're £30 in our local market.

Actually hate the M25 sometimes, I had to travel it all last week - Junction 29 to 21 every day - 2 days clear as a bell, the other two was a nightmare - mainly M11 bridge roadworks...:mad::mad: HATE that bit.

Watching a bit of secret millionaire and some da vinci code and reading this - ohhh, lucky I'm a woman and can multitask, ha ha.

Am just finishing my budget too... has taken me ages...

  • Have been busy catching up today - and an hour in the garden potting on some plug plants and then (drum roll please) a HHC in DH's company car.

His old one is poorly so we have a loan one from the company pool - nice posh car but supposedly cream leather inside. It wasn't cream - it was sticky nasty smelly dirty so I've started with wiping it all over with very weak stardrops. Now everything the driver touches is clean and hopefully better smelling!! Rest of car to follow in 30 min segments, one a night. But - there is weird blue mark on the drivers seat - much more faded now but still blue - any great ideas on how to remove it OS style? I may even take a dyson to it - its the smell and stickiness that gets to me (more £'s on cleaning clothes not to mention making me feel queasy) and why folks can live with it! Eww!!

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Watching a bit of secret millionaire and some da vinci code and reading this - ohhh, lucky I'm a woman and can multitask, ha ha.
I'm watching George Gently and reading this! Going to play Bejeweled for a while. Going to bed as soon as possible after that, am soooooo tired!

Have 2 meetings at work, one's a meeting with my mgr and her mgr in response to a staff satisfaction questionnaire I filled in. I'm seriously dissatisfied, and hope they are going to answer my questions. But am really nervous about it, hope they aren't angry with me about what I said on the questionnaire. I wasn't very complimentary! They haven't given me any work for weeks now, which is odd because as far as I know I am still training, so why aren't they training me? Have had no feedback from my mgr about how she thinks I am doing, in fact I don't know how she will be able to tell how I'm doing as I haven't seen her for months. And my mgr often says things will happen and they don't happen, which is very frustrating!
Then the 2nd one is a team meeting which should be fine.

Sorry for moaning so much today.

There are videos on You tube which show you the basics. You could start with simple squares of different colours (or even the same colour!) that you could stitch together to make a cot blanket or shawl.

Where do you live? County will do - if you're not too far from me, I'd be happy to come and visit and give you a couple of hours lessons.

And big hugs for your Dad and all of you. This next couple of weeks is going to be very stressful for you all. I'll be thinking of you.

Soappie - thank you SO much for the offer; that is really kind of you. Unfortunately I think we are quite a way from you. We are in Birmingham, not far from the Worcestershire border. Thank you anyway xxx Tomorrow, I will have a look on You Tube and see what I can find. :A

    - I never thought about the library. I will pop down in the week, and see if they have any books on Knitting. Thank you x

    - Thank you for all your kind words. Your advice has helped such a lot over the past few weeks. :A

Thank you for all your best wishes and support. It really means a lot. Just talking about it really helps, especially when you are trying to be strong all the time for Dad and the family.

Going to head to bed in a bit. Will catch up with you all after my scan tomorrow. Sweet dreams everyone xxx
