I have 2 cashmere things - both presents I must add and they are machine washed and have lasted for ages but I dry them flat so as not to stretch any of it
toots xx
I happily machine wash my cashmere - its the size/weight of these particular bits that I'm concerned about.0 -

So after my big long waffling post about all my hard work in the garden, what you really wanted to know, was 'Have I been showing my undies off to any more of the neighbours or delivery men?'
No. Thankfully not. :rotfl:
Anyway, I feel better than I did earlier, thats for sure. Had macaroni cheese with bacon in for tea - it was fab, even if I do say so myself. Im very very tired though so will be an early night for me.
Im going to iron clothes for tomorrow and worry about the rest later! Id like to have a bath and try to get some sleep. Im not really looking forward to tomorrow at all. Will do little ones packed lunch too, less to do in the morning which leaves more time to make myself beautiful!
Rosepink - my little boy is 7, so he has his adult teeth coming in. His front two are in at the top and the bottom 4 are in. So now its the big ones coming in at the back. He told me he had sore teeth.....I blamed my parents for giving him too much fizzy juice when he was in Scotland! Turns out, it was his big teeth coming through.
Anyway, am off to do something....ironing his uniform first I think!Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Greenbee, I used to handwash some clothes (a trait from my mother) but do not any more....Like hex2, anything that can't be machine washed lies in the bottom of the wash basket....currently a disney princess dressing up dress that DD wore to a party and got chocolate on. It wouldn't wipe off with a cloth, so, as it's reversable, I decided that she could just wear the other side but that too is stained!!!!!!! It's been there a while now so I don't even think it will fit her any more.....my little baby is growing up!!!!!
Thanks Rosepink0 -
Froddy. Im going to order that it looks like it will ring a bell for me too. The clients I work with were the first in England to be moved from a long stay hospital into the community. The first community home. I remember a study being done on how it was working out. The first place they lived was a council house till we moved to the present purpose built bungalow. I remember people thought it wouldnt last because of their behaviours. One thing I remember is going to supermarket for the first time. They hadnt seen food in a raw state or seen it cooked as they just saw it when it came to ward already plated. Very hard work it was at the beginning but oh so worthwhile.0
