To be honest, any option that I may suggest to you will require some learning.
Vista does have Bluetooth drivers. Have you tried installed via the Device Manager?
Another option would be to download and install the latest version of Blue Soleil, but it's only a trial version.0 -

I have an Acer Aspire laptop running XP. Is there anyway that I can load XP onto the AcerOne without having to buy it again?

Actually thats not quite true, if it came with the laptop then it is OEM and therefore non-transferrable between machines. To be able to do that would require a retail boxed licence.0 -
