    The smell of fresh rubber is REALLY strong when you open the bag, but dont worry it only lasts a little while. I quite liked it!

    Erm............ :)

    Anyway, I read about that. I'll air it outside for a while before use. :)

    I'll get an extended use battery next, when I can be bothered to take the Netbook out of the box. :)

    I didn't look far. Just followed a recomendation on this board. 7200 mAh for £39. Should take battery life up to seven hours. Haven't ordered, as I've yet to un-box the Netbook to check if it is working.

    Just an idea, but is this unit a suitable size and weight for holding in your hands vertically, like a paperback book? If so you could read PDFs from what would then be the right hand page in portrait layout........you can get freeware to rotate all pages in a PDF, so maybe this netbook would make a usable ereader until the Kindle comes down in price?

    Just a thought...........

    You can rotate the screen view by pressing Alt Gr and the the direction keys (Triangles).
