    There was a feature in iTunes where you could upgrade your previously purchased music to DRM-free tracks. I don't know if it's still there now.

    its 20p per song to upgrade
    cant recall costs for albums/videos

    Ripping from a CD IS illegal! :p

    It's one of those obscure laws that I doubt you'd be prosecuted for though!


    They brought it in under the 2000 digital rights act, I think, but I have a feeling they changed the law again on it.
