Downloads

Hi,

Can anyone tell me where to get free music downloads please.

I know it's an old shout for advise, but I just want to start filling up my i-pod with some tunes.

Many thanks

I would not recomend anyone buys from the iTunes store as the damn music only works with iTunes and iPods!

    100% not true.

Music purchased from the iTunes Store has no DRM, so will play on any player or software that supports AAC files.

It has some sort of DRM! You can only play it on 5 computers.

    Not so and not so.
    ;)
Now, every song available on the iTunes Store is an iTunes Plus song. That means you get high-quality music with 256-Kbps AAC encoding, making every song you download virtually indistinguishable from the original recording. iTunes Plus songs are all free of burn limits and digital rights management (DRM).

Use amazon mp3 downloader, itunes or napster, amazon have some cheap tracks, they were in the news recently as they slashed some of the prices of some songs whereas apple raied the prices of some of theyre songs

I love having a large collection of CD's and Vinyl, I hope they both don't get phased out in years to come in favour of digital distribution :(
