I don't like herby either - nice to know I'm not alone! I like Morrison's butcher's sausages. Depending on where you live, Booths also do very nice 'plain' pork sausages.0

I nearly always buy Tescos finest sausages. They have a wide variety of different types, and are typically made up of 85% pork, rusk, white bread, egg, egg white, sea salt, white pepper, nutmeg.
They actually taste like meat. (I really hate pink sausages). They are about £2.59 a packet, which although dearer than some other brands, is worth it , and they nearly always have 2 for £4.50 offers.
If its not Tescos, its a local butchers, or Porkinsons, or equivalent.0 -
I get ours from the local butchers who are apparently 'Supreme Sausage Champions' of something lol. All I know is that their sausages are AMAZING!!!

Anyone tried these bangers? They are apparently made to a recipe by the late, great Norman Parkinson and contain 80% pork. Reason I ask is we got 2 packs (for £1 total!) a few days ago from the 'staff shop' I mentioned a few posts ago and we haven't tasted them yet.Call me Carmine....
