I can only eat and only like the cheapest ones at Siansbury and Tesco - their own brands.

I thought those Debbie and Andrews sausages were pretty poor. Filling (due to high meat content) - they tasted soapy to me.

Phew - I thought I was the only one who didn't like them :p. I didn't finish mine, didn't like the taste.

I like Porky Whites and Asda Extra Special Pork with red wine, garlic and herbs :j

I didn't like the Debbie & Andrews either:eek: I think they go "funny" on the heath grill too:eek:

I love Surrey Whites though, they remind me of the gone but not forgotton Kennedys (a south London chain of English style deli's)

We buy ours from costco. About 4 pound for 16 fat or 32 thin sausages and between 80 and 95% pork.

Not tried the Costco sausages before - are they frozen or from th butcher counter?

I normally buy Lidl 95% meat pork chipolatas - they are soooo tasty!!!

Worst are Richmonds and Wee Willie Winkies - shouldn't even be allowed to call these sausages!

I'll give them a try, I was going to give up on 90 percent plus meat sausages as D&A but me off them!! I'll try those though, Asda's own cumberland 65% meat sausages aren't too bad for £1 though.

I've only had the Asda Extra Special Pork with red wine, garlic and herbs ones on the BBQ but they were lovely, and even my MIL who doesn't really like sausages raved about these ones!

    Cashback Cashier
We have just tried Tesco Finest Pork and Herb sausages (only reason being we got them from the supermarket overstock shop I mentioned earlier in the thread - 3 packs for a quid!). These apparently cost £2.59 per pack in Tesco and I have to say not all that impressed with them - luckily we did them in the Remoska on the trivet as we were very shocked to see how much gunk came out of them. If we had paid full price we would have been most annoyed but at 6p per sausage mustn't complain too loud.

I was slightly underwhelmed when I tried the Debbie and Andrews, had a bit of a strange aftertaste. I didn't leave any though, they weren't that bad!
