Advantage Mortgage Shock Offer

Well my broker has done the Ronaldo 1-2-stepover on me and Ima feeling angry right now.

With all the info the jess has done 2 AIPs that have come up on my report and both denied even though I've been good for 6 months since paying in full all my debt. Defaults are old and all come off Dec 09 so I figured maybe he could get a deal.

Maybe I should have gone for Advantages broker really but I'm on my way to another bank on my own today .Feel I may be paddling up the Zambezi with a wooden spoon on this one as file now shows 2 putdowns already. The hapless fool must just be filling AIPs online and hoping for the best. I've asked him to get quotes without going straight to AIPs but :mad:.

Should've trusted my gut on this one and gone with Advantages broker.

we are new members to this site so hello to everyone!!, we have had a offer from advantage of £11000 thought it was a scam at first but since reading all the posts on here it must be real!, does anyone recommend using the free broker that they are offering??

just been offered £10100.00 owe them £137,000.00 and house is worth £165,000.00 should we haggle for more from advantage?
don't need a new mortgage as about to complete on sale of house

I think the credit agreement you have with them is null and void , and you can have the whole of your completely loan written off as a result !!!!

Hello all I have been in touch with one of the brokers through advantage he has been very helpful and is very confident that he can get me a much better offer of advantage. He has already got me a principle agreement subject to checks with the abbey so now he will hopefully go and work his magic with advantage. If he does what he says then he will get us around 25k off when our initial offer was 12k so I will let you all know what happens.

Good luck to everyone else - I say haggle haggle and haggle some more. We have earned these discounts paying sky high interest for years!

We have just contacted advantage regarding our offer of £11000, we have negative equity in the house and have told them that unless they offer more to move then it wont be worth our while, they have just told us to get a valuation on the house and confirmation of the maximum amount the new lender will give us, hope we can haggle more!! and get the £25k that other people seem to be getting, we really need this to be able to move house, fingers crossed!!

That is exacty it. We know what situation MS are in and they want some money back. It will be a cash sum for you and as mentioned before as long as there is no adverse you should be laughing. Oakwood I believe still do this.

Where you all on the flexishare product of just a standard repayment mortgage?

Were you within the fixed rate period?

And has anyone had any success in asking for this offer?
