Fine ~ worked 'as is' without having to change anythingInstalled on desktop with XP and laptop with Vista, no problems with either.0

They ever did? I really can't get to grips with why anyone would go out of their way to install IE8, when they could just as easily have installed FF3, a much much better browser.
Until Mac OS X 10.3, Internet Explorer for Mac was the default browser included with OS X. It was discontinued in 2003.
It had some interesting features and was in some ways superior to the Windows version.0 -
Working great and any sites that have problems have been fine when using compatability view0

Installed it on all my PC's - the one site I use IE for is a Microsoft site that magically got slower when IE8 came out, and works back at full speed in IE8 (Microsoft ExpertZone Retail Training).
I use Chrome for everything else anyway.Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0 -
Fine ~ worked 'as is' without having to change anythingOn my previous 9 month old installation, it started up MUCH slower than IE7. That could have been down to prefetching, mind.
After upgrading and reinstalling, I installed it along with the rest of the updates. No problems yet, but I did a little removing of some of the features. I forget what now, but Firefox is my primary browser.Everybody is equal; However some are more equal than others.0 -
I find it slow to :rolleyes:The solving of a problem lies in finding the solvers.0

Its on my PCs, only tend to use it if a site has problems with Firefox.
I let autoupdate install IE 8 but I haven't bothered trying it out. I like my FF add ons too much.0 -
IE8? What a load of s...... :pInstalled - don't know whether it works or not, other than for Windows Updates, as it's the last browser that I would use.0

Fine ~ worked 'as is' without having to change anythingDownloaded a while back and works as is - although to be fair I only ever use it for microsoft updates.0

Sort of works - but still have some 'teething' problemsI am using it now after getting it from Windows update, it seems to be quite fast and pleasing to the eye. Have not had any problems with it so far, I was running SP3 before I downloaded it so it looks like Microsoft have fixed that problem.0
