Well microsoft is trying to get me to install this on all my computers

Ive personally seen a LOT of problems with IE8 (NOT only with BETA I might add)

So I thought I'd post a poll so please state WHAT you had to change to get IE8 to work IF youve had problems (Or otherwise)

For some reason since installing IE8, when I load the sims 2 game it changes my broadband that has to dial up to "never dial a connection" and I have to manually change it back to get on the internet. It never happened with IE7 and I have not done anything different with the game.

Mine has been working fine, not experienced any problems yet. It is fast but I prefer using Firefox.

What type of problems are you having?

Its on my PCs, only tend to use it if a site has problems with Firefox.

Only installed on #2 mini-Gun's lappy so far to try it out....so far it's worked okay with no obvious errors on anything (they play online RPG's). MAy well try it on Vista lappy next to give it a blast on there.....

Installed and working fine. Much more stable than IE7, although I think the problems were being caused by the Adobe addins. These work fine in IE8

Microsoft don't make Internet Explorer for my OS any more, which is kind of a pity. Still, I'm not losing any sleep over it.

some sites not working with it (eg doing surveys) so removed it and sticking with 7

It worked fine for me, but as usual, it's far too slow. It's hardly any different than IE7 either looks wise - you'd think they could have tweaked it a bit to make it look new!

They ever did? I really can't get to grips with why anyone would go out of their way to install IE8, when they could just as easily have installed FF3, a much much better browser.
Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.
