    Hi there

I hate it when that happens......, so sorry to hear of that and its annoying when they tell you to go to the FLA and they can't help either.

Do you know roughly the amount your asking for?

You could make an appointment with your local CAB and sometimes they have a free solicitor, but check with the CAB first, find out when they are available and ask them if they are able to suggest anything for you.
But be careful of these claims companies that charge upfront on fees etc.

Hopefully the CAB can try to help and lead you in the right direction with this.

There is Small claims court, but again you don't want to lose money or lose a lot of your reclaim, but a little info on this link here:
    http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/ManagingDebt/CourtClaimsAndBankruptcy/DG_10023133

Check that link out as well, as I do not actually know how these claims works through small claims, and hopefully someone will be along with some useful info and advice for you soon.;)

    Hi there mozI01

As far as I am aware yes you can unless someone else confirms otherwise.
As you have been out of pocket due to this, good luck.;)

    Hi there
Thanks for informing us, good luck with this.

In regards of your dads, as long as the full 8 weeks they are entitled to have passed and you have not heard, then you can then move on to the FOS. Good luck.;)
