Monday (we had) veggie pasta bake ,, salad, garlic bread(shop bought on sale)
Tuesday (we had) beef stew (beef bought in reduced section 90p!)
Wednesday.going to moms for chicken dinner yay!
Thursday LUNCH potatoe skins and salad
TEA fish pie and veggies
Friday leftover night the choice is yours !
Saturday Veggie stir fry
Sunday Cant decide got a lamb joint but also fish............. need the fish but need inspiration0 -

Well so far so good! I am sticking to the meal plan for the first time! Must be writing it down that makes you do it!
Really enjoying reading everyones meal plans and getting loads of ideas!

Hello everyone - I'm just back from holiday and found myself very frustrated without a meal plan so just done it before going shopping tomorrow. Here goes (will repeat part of it once the new plan thread gets going):
today: chickpea/chorizo stew with brown rice, salad
thurs: leek/potato soup, quiche with crab
fri: black pudding & potato salad
sat: couscous with apricots, feta and pine nuts - leeks and salad
sun: fish pilaki
mon: hm pizza with spinach & blue cheese
tues: low-fat beef Stroganoff with noodles and veg
wed: tortilla beany bake
thurs: ragout from (organic) veal in cream/mustard sauce
fri: spinach souffle

Cream together 6oz butter and 6oz sugar, then gradually beat in 3 eggs and 3 tbsp orange juice.
Fold in 6oz SR flour, 1 tsp baking powder and 2oz desiccated coconut.
Spoon into a lined/greased square tin and bake at 180°C/gas 4 for 30-40 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.
Leave to cool for 10 minutes in the tin, then turn out to finish cooling on a wire rack.
Once cooled, mix together 6oz icing sugar, 2oz desiccated coconut, 1 tbsp orange juice and enough water to make a thick paste. Spread over the cake and leave to set before slicing into bars.
