I have meal planned for months so this thread should help me keep to it properly!

    Sat - Homemade cottage pie
Sun - We are going out for dinner, Hubs is treating me :j
Mon - Hearty Pasta Soup - found this thanks to the stock piling thread  http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/5592/hearty-pasta-soup

Tues - BBQ pork quesadilla's with green pepper and tomato salad

Lunched will be either homemade soup or sandwiches (have loads of tinned tuna to use up) I think i have all the ingredients i need for next week so my only outlay should be for milk, fruit and bread.

    Been trying to menu plan for a little while but not posted before. Hopefully this will keep me on track;

    Saturday; HM Lasagne and chips
Sunday; Roast Gammon, cabbage, pots and yorkies
Monday; Spaghetti and HM Meatballs and Tom sauce
Tuesday; Leftover gammon with bubble and squeak cakes (maybe a fried or poached egg)
Wednesday; Lamb chop and potato wedge bake with sweetcorn
    Thursday; Beef stew and mash
Friday; Fry-up (sausages, bacon, chips, beans and egg)

B/fasts; cereal, toast, bagels, fruit, yoghurts

Lunches; HM leek and pot soup, ham, leftover gammon or corned beef sandwiches/rolls, beans/eggs on toast, other leftovers (lasagne/meatballs)

Snacks; as above plus fruit, yoghurts, sausage rolls, HM flapjacks, HM smartie cookies or HM banana cake.

    Ok, here goes:

    Saturday: out for a meal
Sunday: potentially at friend's for dinner
Monday: Homemade lasagne from the freezer
    Tuesday: At Mum's
Wednesday: Spanish Omelette with Bread and Butter
Thursday: Chicken Curry (probably Rogan Josh)
Friday: Pizza (for a treat, and we've got one in the freezer to use up)

Lunches will be sandwiches or beans on toast, and I do plan to do some baking at some point - I quite fancy the idea of the coconut cake bars, and I might do some more apricot bars.

    Have a good week everyone

Hi everyone. A bit of strange week as my Dad's in hospital but I'm keeping to the plan as much as possible so I don't fall back on take aways or snack food ;) My Mum will eat with us most days so I know that she's taking care of herself too. We are having:

Monday - Homemade pizza, chips & salad

    Tuesday - Meatballs & spaghetti

Wednesday - Chicken Korma & Rice

    Thursday - Spaghetti Bolognese

    Friday - Sausage Pasta

Saturday - Spicy lentil soup & sandwiches followed by cheesecake (DD will make it ;))

Sunday - Roast Gammon, new potatoes & salad

    Breakfasts: Cereal, toast, yoghurts, smoothies.

Lunches: Sandwiches, pate & toast, dips & veg sticks, soup.

Snacks: Twinks hobnobs, weetabix cake, yoghurt, fruit and anything from the lunch menu.

I'm going to try some homemade falafal burgers in pittas with salad for a lunch this week too. I get BBC EasyCook magazine and it was one of the recipes this month :T

    Happy cooking everyone!
