    Afternoon all

I'm afraid AF May went out the window yesterday. Went to my brothers for a BBQ and they had a jug of pimms. I just didn't say no. So much for willpower.

I had three glasses and then all the way home I was beating myself up for it. I ranted to my OH that I was a failure and he told me off straight away. This is the trouble though....perhaps I'm putting too much pressure on.

So I've decided to leave the May challenge for a while. Budgie, I'm really sorry to let you down. I will probably still lurk but I think I need to get off my butt and find something to occupy myself!

So (hugs) to everyone. I will still pop in and out and I'll most likely be back next month.

    Miss P
    xx

Be a quitter, not a quitter :rotfl:

Good luck, and come back soon. When my drinking got out of control, I would hide away, and not face my responsibilities and fears. It only compounded my problem in the long run.
I know I am incredibly hard on myself, and would beat myself up for any tiny little thing. Luckily, without me drinking, that is one thing that i don't knock myself for :T
