Well, Lotus-Eater, I saw Georgie Best in a bar on the King's Road at lunch time many years ago when I was free and single and living the life of Reilly in London. And I saw Bob Geldof in another bar on the King's Road ... and HE LOOKED AT ME!!!! But now I am a 'sensible' mother of 3 ...
Maman - are you French? Hope you don't think I'm cheeky, but just wondering why you have the French name for Mummy???
Right, back to work. That's quite enough cheekiness for one day. I'll get back into my box.
Jo - thanks for doing scoring next month, I am thinking about target and will let you know. I hope you have a lovely birthday cake for that little cutie - a football cake might be apt??
I really must get back to work or this project will never be done.

Don't mind you being nosy, Jo, I'm the nosiest person I know. It's marketing in French and English - sometimes fascinating, sometimes boring as can be.Total AFD's May-December 2009: 178 ie 73% of total days (245 days)

I am secretly hoping for a few more, but won't push my luck - got a few birthday meals in July ;)
I will duck out altogether in August as I won't be around much and be on holiday here and there and yes, I do intend drinking when I am on holiday :rolleyes:0 -

I drank far too much yesterday, wine, beer and cider and I got too much sun so I am feeling _pale_ today. 7th day AF for me today.Like your list idea BHB must do one for myself..on the subject of bacon, I get cravings for bacon sandwiches (toasted) yum but I used to be vegi and would like to reduce my meat intake, any ideas for kid friendly vegi meals would be greatly appreciated...
Sorry I know you didn't ask me that question and I don't have kids but I will answer anyway.:D Porridge, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, crumpets, bagels, muffins etc for breakfast with marmite, peanut butter or jam or you can get veggie bacon and sausages and do a fry up with baked beans, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes. There are lots of convenience meals like veggie burgers in the freezer section of most supermarkets. You can just have them with mash and vegetables with vegetable or onion gravy. Or just team them with homemade chips or potato wedges or sweet potato wedges. You could make dishes from scratch like vegetable lasagne, vegetable curries, chinese stir fries with noodles, shepherd's pie/spag bol/chilli con carne made with veggie mince or lentils. Homemade pizzas (or shop bought pizza bases) and lots of veggies and pineapple on top. I like those fajita kits you can buy and you can just fry green and red peppers and red onions and kidney beans and wrap them up them with lettuce and tomato. Salads. Homemade soups with crusty bread. I don't know how adventurous your kids are but you could try things like houmous with chopped up veggies to dunk.
I'm starving!! You can tell I haven't had my lunch yet can't you.:rotfl:
I hope you are all okay.:A It is stunning weather here today.:jHOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000
