Wilkinsons have some floral teatowels in which are very CK- esque. At 3 for £2 I couldn't resist. I did need some as I don't own any and since the dishwasher packed up I've been doing a lot of drip drying. Luckily DH won an award at work this week, so we have Argos vouchers (his prize) to spend on a new one but until then It's back to the old fashioned way!
Congrats on the job Vix, hope you enjoy (is that too strong a word?) it x
Happy Anniversary JCR, Lovely lamp too, I'm on the look out for a couple in that sort of style for the bedroom but I'm hoping to get a mega baragin so I'm scouring the chazza shops at the moment!0 -
And another boring post from me!
Does anyone live nr Sleaford? I've been looking at this, I think it's a new business in the area and whilst I can merrily stitch my way through several days, I've never been taught properly so I thought about splashing out £35 on one of these days for my birthday and seeing how I should be doing it! My husband says I will turn up and get an hour into the day and start saying "well, if you do it like this it's quicker and neater etc etc" but then I do sometimes think he has an over inflated sense of my abilities, bless 'im! There is also a 'make do and mend' course being held in Grantham next March by the college. I love doing things like that and seeing how other people do it!
Anyone fancy it.........
ETA - I quite think I may join the Christmas Patchwork stocking day and the tablecloth one. I don't actually need a tablecloth and I could make one myself without the course, same with the stocking, but I really enjoying stitching in company, if you like, and no-one here that I know would do that iyswim. Maybe I should start a village crafts club.................."A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

Those classes look amazing. I'd do all of them, the prices aren't bad either. I'm going to look into some in my area now. It's a good way to meet people too I'd think, you could possibly get a group going if you all get on.0

Well the Adult Community Learning website has quite a lot of courses but they are quite expensive and not exactly what I'd want to do. I'll shout if I find anything interesting and cheap!0
