And this is what I'm working on at the mo. Watercolour minatures of the kids when they were little, they are mostly in
their 30's now :( where did the time go?
Never done this before so its a new territory!

Wow, those pics of your children are simply gorgeous. Time does fly by doesn't it, my daughter's 28 & it only seems like yesterday she was born. All you Mum's of young children, enjoy every moment, it goes by too quickly.

Wow Pennib - you really are a great artist, I could never do portraits, more of an abstract gal, although I used to be good at flowers, fairies and butterflies. I am much better with pencil rather than paint but I will definatly have a go, I am at uni at the mo studying occupational therapy and hope resurecting my art skills will come in useful for therapy sessions.

wow there fantastic. i can't draw a straight line with a ruler. but my dad is ( or was due to poor eyesight now) an amazing drawer. he draw the most stunning birds when he was younger for his A level( was called some different back in the 60's when dad took them. also my hubby's nan paints glass or ceramic/bone china vases, plates , jugs etc and he paintwork is stunning. she sells it and gives it to us as pressies . so hopefully my kids will have some talent given to them through their gene's. having said that my dd is 6 and is an amazing drawing. even her school report today said she has amazing attention to detail.

Thanks girls. Its pencil and watercolour combined. Debsi, I would think that any craft work would
be good for therapy, even if its to screw into a ball and throw across the room cos it didnt
    work!
JCR16; Some of my kids are very talented in various crafts. When they were little we always encouraged
them by framing their work and hanging it up, or putting it on the mantelpiece. Bet your hub's nan's work is beautiful. Have you got any
    piccy's too share?

Oh Linda...your bed/bedding is just beautiful! I think i may have to pinch your idea of using vintage sheets with a duvet :)

Thanks Mely, feel free to copy, I just love the feel of them when you climb into bed, especially when I've just put fresh ones on.

Bibbitybob - the cat looks just like my male cat Mortimer. Love the transformation of the stool. Enjoy your break.

Pennib - you are so talented, those pictures of your children are fab. can also echo your advice to those with young children, they grow up so fast. Mine now range from 19 to 35, though my gorgeous grandaughter is only 3 and makes me smile so much.

Ah the watercolours are so sweet. I would love to go on one of those painting weekends where you get time to do it. Did anyone else use to watch watercolour challenge?
I wish it would stop raining so I can crack on with my table, I just knew this would happen!

Pennib - Those watercolours are gorgeous, you're a very, very talented lady!

Do you sell your art work? I'd love to have something like that done of my DD's.

Loving all the foot stools, keep up the good work people.
