Mely; thanks for that....my family just go 'take cover mum's got the paints out'!

Cmazza; I don't sell my furniture...it gets given to family/friends. Unfortunately up here, there seems no demand
for this sort of thing. I think if you live in a busy/wealthy area (like the shop that Mary Queen of shops re-did)
there will be a good profit. Yes shabby chic rules and will never go out of fashion (imho)!!!

I loved that episode of Mary Queen of Shops. It was a really good transformation. And her comment about the Adams Family, the lad in his dressing gown, absolute genious.

cmazza; I felt like giving that lad a good scrub, what was wrong with him:mad: The transformation was great and the couple were
obviously sooo much happier. I don't sell furniture but this is a shameless plug for my monkeys which I do sell. ;)

Lovely footstools pennib & polly! They remind me of the one I did when I first moved into my flat (hence the nasty carpet, apologies!!). My OH's mum was going to throw the stool out but he rescued it for me. The only before I have has my scruffy moggy in I'm afraid, but you can see how it was falling to pieces.

Going to be signing off for a few days now as I'm going to visit a friend in northern Scotland, I'll see you all when I get back

I love the stool Bibbity. When I moved to Derbyshire I left a stool very much like that at my old house as I hated it, if only I knew then :(

I went to my mum's for the weekend and remembered to pick up my nan's sewing box :D

When at mum's I said that I had always love a little box that was on her window sill as a kid I always thought it was a treasure chest full of jewels, my mum said I could take it home and she included the old pre decimal coins :D
th_DSCN3040.jpg?t=1279120546th_DSCN3043.jpg?t=1279120546 Not sure how old it is but my mum said the sticker inside was from my nan's Blue bird stockings she used to wear (shes been gone 25 years now).

I am loving all the pic's :A you are a busy lot. I just wish there were CB's around here :(
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Love the stool Bibbity, have a great time in Scotland. Looking forward to seeing your pics of your OH parents decorating. Are they back and do they love it?

Debsie; These are the paints that I use.
    Gathered over many years.
They used to be 99p but they have gone up now. They last for ages.
