Oh my this thread moves so fast!
I am amazed that loads of you manage all of this wonderful stuff with all the problems you have to deal with. I flap about having time to do stuff as I work full time and have 4 kids, but at least I am not battling an illness like you guys are; I feel so selfish, you guys are an inspiration!
That spray painted mirror is fabulous - I hadn't considered spraying mine, it has fancy detail on it like yours and I keep looking at it wondering how to deal with it: now I know ~ thanks. xYou can stand there and agonize........

As usual there is some great stuff to catch up with. I am looking at all your blogs as I can and commenting too. They're great.
Right then, oh hallowed experts and trusted friends...advice please. With an oilcloth tablecloth.....will it be suitable for a round table....(not sure if it hangs well, IYKWIM) or do you cut to fit exact area of the top?
Also....I have a large Ikea tray which I've had for years and never used. I want to shabby it up (of course) and last night I accepted a kind donation from B&Q in the form of some generous wallpaper 'samples'. I planned on keying the melamine-y surface of the tray then PVAing the paper on....would I PVA it to seal or am I way off the mark??????The greatest gift you'll ever learn,is just to love and be loved in return:love:Nature boy - Eden Ahbez0 -

It was so easy and there are no drips or runs etc. You just put on lots of thin coats. Most mirrors can be removed so you can just spray the frame but my mirror was quite flimsy on the back and I didnt want to take it out so I masked the front. I didnt use any primer, just sprayed on. The mirror is actually plastic, not bad for 50p. Was meant for my daughter's room but it fits quite well in the bathroom.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
Sigh. Our exchange isn't going o happen today and is questionable whether it will on this house now. So near yet so far! The underwriters are thinking on it today, but its looking unlikely. so, my furniture isn't coming out of storage to be chic'ed any time soon.0
