it sounds like you've been doing too much then Bookie, it's ok to have a me day (and it is a Bank holiday) so do something for you.

That might be just curling up in your duvet or a blanket on the sofa reading or listening to the radio and relaxing, so that you don't get the cold it sounds like you might be getting.

If you need it, i can order you to do that! :D:D

    Cold is hopefully going SC.
Did very little yesterday so must make an effort today. Busy week ahead.
Did you put walnuts in the cake?

No. it's just a plain coffee cake with coffee butter icing, but the walnuts will go in a banana walnut cake with vanilla icing!!:j

my shoulder/neck is still sore from yesterday. Taken something for it, I must have slept funny.

Am helping my ex get rid of 40 litres of mineral water today. He needs 8x5 litre containers emptying before a swimming activity tomorrow (the containers are used as life saving floats) and I have managed to use up 10 litres. I've filled my windscreen washer, the kettle, the pan for the potatoes for tonight, I've peeled a load of potatoes for chips tomorrow and put them in a bowl with the water, I've then put all the peelings into another bowl and filled that with water for crisp/chip snacks. I've drunk 2 pints worth and am on my third and I've washed my lidded water jug which was getting dusty with the last bit and I'm going to back to his place and take another 5 litres and then fill the lidded jug with pobably 2-3 litres of that. A real test of initiative to get rid of the water without wasting it - the pub flowers over the road from him are probably going to get a hell of a drenching later! All my neighbours are gardeners, don't know if any of them have water butts.

Saves me using some tap water as well now I have my shiny new meter but I am completely sloshing with water now :rotfl:

BB, can you not fill a bucket or 2 and use the water for toilet flushing?
I know it's a waste of good clean water, but every little helps.

Scaredy, any of that yummy sounding cake left?

When they've frozen pop them into a plastic bag and do some more.
