Is it used heavily? I'd be tempted to ask for a manufacturer repair under the Sales of Goods Act - a year isn't really reasonable for a laptop to give out.

Don't say things like that Bookie....I may have to do something also.

I suppose I could continue with my tidying of the lounge and catch up on The Archers at the same time

it sounds like you've been doing too much then Bookie, it's ok to have a me day (and it is a Bank holiday) so do something for you.

That might be just curling up in your duvet or a blanket on the sofa reading or listening to the radio and relaxing, so that you don't get the cold it sounds like you might be getting.

If you need it, i can order you to do that! :D:D

my approach to dealing the bad things-I have 'bad' days and 'sad' days' but I haven't got depressed like I have in the past-it's all in how I CHOOSE to feel about them. (this is very much PMA/The Secret/Law of Attraction/NLP) instead of laying blame, getting down constantly and feeling like 'it's been a horrible year' I just think about how they've shaped me into who I am.
I agree completely. It's about using the situation we all have to the best possible opportunty to improve things for ourselves and I've really taken on that ideology over the last year.
Like a wonderful friend said to me recently 'I don't care what you've done in the past, all I care is how I feel when I'm with you-you make me happy'.
oh aye nudge nudge wink wink?? ;):rotfl:

I still enjoy reading this as many days as I remember to

    http://greatday.com/

    as it says today

'Every day, every situation, every twist and turn of life's road gives you something valuable with which to work.'

And to that end, I used the situation of my OH ending a week of being an inconsiderate !!!!!! by looking him in the eye and saying 'you turning up here for half an hour late each night and then falling asleep on the sofa is NOT what a relationship is about. Is it. '

    'No' he said sheepishly.......:rotfl:

I don't think you'll ever change Scott Bun, just like I'll never change my OH. It's about whether you (and I) choose to live with the situation we have and work our lives to take what opportunities we can from it in other ways to balance out what is missing, or, we choose to walk away and take the other route of starting again and deal with the opportunities (both good or bad) that brings.
