2009 isn't too good for me either Lenny but we both have new 'little men' to lighten the gloom.
I'm doing chicken tonight - not my favourite but SIL to be is really picky. A nightmare to feed.
Must clean later - I am hosting a Home Group on Wednesday night and have to spend the day in the shop stocktaking on Wed so it's now or never.
At least the rain has made that decision easier.0 -
I'm guessing Bunny's pleased to see Snaggs :rotfl:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

One of the things Snags and I were discussing on Sat night was the fact that both of us have had some pretty crappy things happen in the past 18 months but what I've found different is my approach to dealing the bad things-I have 'bad' days and 'sad' days' but I haven't got depressed like I have in the past-it's all in how I CHOOSE to feel about them. (this is very much PMA/The Secret/Law of Attraction/NLP) instead of laying blame, getting down constantly and feeling like 'it's been a horrible year' I just think about how they've shaped me into who I am. Like a wonderful friend said to me recently 'I don't care what you've done in the past, all I care is how I feel when I'm with you-you make me happy'. It made me realise that I am not choosing 'events' that have happened to define me, rather how I choose to deal with them. I may have done things I am not proud of, or perhaps even regret but like I've always said about 'my debt'-I may have been bad with money, I am NOT a bad person.
there is too much sadness and bitterness already in the world. I will not let those negative feelings run my life. I am choosing happiness and love-and that's why I love all you guys so much-you enhance my life.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Lovely post Bun.
Do you think differently now, or do you consciously stop the negative thoughts and replace with positives ?Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
