I think that it would probably (knowing Sky) be cheaper to not buy Sky + boxes off Ebay etc as they will hit you for installation and cabling.

no sky will not install boxes that are not purchased from sky i had to get a private company it install my sky+ box it cost me about £60 but this included the quad lnb and he set my old digi box up in bedroom as free sat.

thanks for the help, have managed to get it sorted now and am getting two sky + boxes and multiroom installed next week and have an upgraded package. Sky were very helpful...just need to wait and check the installation goes ahead okay now:D
