some people are just plain GREEDY!"Does anyone have a Button Moon DVD or Video please? It is for my neice,
her Nan gave it away, with some bootsale items, and she is missing it
now!! Poor Nan, is in the dog house now, so if you can help my neice
would be very grateful! (not too bad yet...)
I am also after a light wood, (Beech or Maple) dining room table and
chairs with ideally 6 chairs in good condition. I would prefer a
rectangular shape or a square one that could be extendable. (so not fussy really....)
Two garden PVC recliners in good condition. (again not particular...)
Beech or stained pine sideboard about 4-5 feet long in good condition. (if you just HAPPEN to have one of these lying around)
A man's road bike in good condition. (now you are really starting to take the peepee)
Last but not least a garden roller to roll out the bumps in my lawn.
Sorry it's so many to ask for, but we only get one wanted ad a month,
so I hoping to cram them all in one go!! (D'oh!! thats the whole point!?! 1 wanted ad....1 wanted...once a month!!)"
Among the other things she has asked for recently are a TV and Freeview box, Double mattress and "feather/down king size or superking size duvet please but only if it is in clean, good condition. Possible covers as well?" (LMAO, read this AFTER I wrote the ad below...), DVD and video player in good condition, a modern fire place.
I can't go on, I am appaled that the mods allow it to continue. To be fair, she has offered stuff in the past...bags of ladies clothes, her sisters sideboard, 10 year old carpet and underlay, ancient 3 piece suite.
So I have decided to see what I can get away with.
Here is my wanted ad for this month...WANTED - in brand new condition unless stated...
I wonder if anyone has a 21 inch flat screen TV that they have finished with? Would prefer Sony but Panasonic would do at a push. Myst have black surround, silver clashes with my colour scheme. I hope someone can help out here as I have had to move my old flat screen into my 1 year old sons room so he can watch the cartoons on Sunday mornings and give me a lie in.
Actually, while I think of it does anyone have a DVD player that would match the TV requested above? He can then have the old one in his room too to watch his DVD's. (any kids DVD's appreciated too actually. Prefer sealed so I know they aren't scratched.)
Moving on to the rest of the house...
Does anyone have an Ikea Kitchen they are gtting rid of? I want the one with red doors and silver handles (the colour scheme is different in the kitchen than the lounge so silver is fine!)
It needsto have at least 12 cupboards and 5 feet of work surface. If you could fit it for me that would be great too.
Also need a double sink to fit the above kitchen and a dishwasher.
Clothes washer/tumble drier would also be good but must be hotpoint. (would accept used ones of these)
I need plants for my garden and my patio could do with replacing so any decking or paving slabs would be useful too.
I have a very bad back and my mattress is a couple of years old now so does anyone have a super king size CLEAN mattress and the accompanying bedding? I can only sleep on Egyptian cotton though.
I don't have any transport so you would need to deliver the items and I'll let you know if I want them when you get here.
I surrender. This is the same list that allows pets and houses to be listed.Good Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!

Morty,
Surely this is someone's idea of a joke? Or to make a point to those always asking for expensive items.
We get the odd request for a Porsche 911 or a Ferrari(must be red)etc
One guy offered himself, and made it quite clear what sevices he was offering!!0 -
Cardew, I wish it was, she is perfectly serious. LMAO! The first advert there is word for word what was asked for. (the red stuff is what I have added.) My advert is a mickey take, yes.
She even at one point said. I want a king size feather duvet but it must be new or nearly new. (?!?!?!?)Good Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!

I do Morty!
I wish that our local group had a restriction on Wanted ads... I've given plenty of stuff away but never responded to a Wanted: I think it's only fair to offer to all and give everyone a chance to get an item if it's available.
Our local group is littered with wanted requests; from the ridiculous to the obviously needy (but still expecting an awful lot...). My theory with wanteds are that if it isn't on the list already; people don't want to give it away!0
