Kaupthing Edge/ ING

I received my tax certificate from Kaupthing yesterday. The tax deducted isn't at 20% though!? The gross interest is correct but the tax deducted is about 13.4% of the gross amount and hence the net interest is wrong.
Same here, but I took full print outs of the statements on-line where the tax was correctly deducted, so they've just screwed up the tax certificate in my case (and possibly yours too), not that bothered, I have printed proof what net was paid via the statements and that is the actual money received at the correct rate.
What a shower!0 -
Apparantely ING have no authorisation over the KE accounts which were shut and not converted to ING (despite the tax cert having their return address and details ont he reverse), so the next step if you want to get it sorted / correct cert is to contact Ernst and Young the Administrators, I've yet to find the correct contact their though... annoying for records...0
