morning ladies! you guys were VERY naughty last night, lol! all this talk of willies and such...tsktsk! :D

so glad it's Friday...sometimes the weeks are so long! Jealous of all you going on ML today - obviously mine won't start for a very long time, but I did read work's policy the other day and was very pleased I get 9 months with only a third of that on SMP - the joys of the public sector!

we've got our first scan tomorrow - very excited/nervous!!

  • I went to the Good Food Live show at 8.5 mths pregnant with bad SPD. NEC were very good I hired a wheelchair and it cost me a fiver (you have to book in advance though).

However the problem was my OH! He wheeled me into stands, over peoples feet, too fast, swung me round it was terrifying! In the end i walked and pushed the empty wheelchair but that helped enormously.

Thanks girls. We had a blazing row and still aren't talking. He can be really hurtful sometimes, I slept in the single bed in the spare room and went to bed at 8pm. He left this morning without saying a word so I rang him to see what he wanted for tea - he answers 'What?' Which sparked it all off again. Floods of tears on way to work not good when driving up the M6 in the rain.
Bl00dy bar steward - he's really upset me but doesn't seem to care. Said he if I wasn't pregnant he would leave me but I know he doesn't mean it, he's just trying to get a rise out of me.
Will ignore him now until he apologies - I hate being in work when I'm upset.

On another note - OH is Massive and knows how to use it ;)

Hugs Glam. OH can be nasty and vindictive too. I've had all that. Sat at work upset and trying to hide the tears. He'll start feeling guilty soon, they always do. I never give in and can do the silent treatment for weeks at a time. Stubborn! Moi!

Take care of your self and s*d him. You and the baby are what's important. He can get his own bloody tea.

Aw - how sweet!!! I've just had a breakfast of Haribos - moving onto the Crisps now and then Dairy Milk. Might cheer me up but I doubt it!!

Aless - aren't you lucky! I thought I'd get decent Occupational Mat Pay working in the NHS but I've been screwed over and get nothing but SMP:confused:

Is it a private scan tomorrow? How many weeks are u?

I was quiet this morning and thought he might say something but didn't. So I rang him to make the first move but he carried it on.

I am trying so hard not to text him or ring him - unfortunately he can be really stubborn!!!

awww, Glam he will come around when he realises what an immature a*se he's being (especially if you don't cook tea for him...then he'll apologise 'cuz he's hungry! :P)

I thought NHS did good maternity packages?! One of my friends was talking about it just the other day, but maybe it varies by PCT. I'm really lucky, but it all evens out...not-so-great pay, but great benefits. I work for a national Gov't agency, so that helps.

It's cuz I work for a GP practice, if I was in a PCT or Hospital I would get 18 weeks full pay. Suffice to say I will be looking for another job whilst on mat leave!

He's just phoned to see how I am - pretty good for him as he can keep going for ages!!

It was a good job really - I was just finishing off the crisps and getting ready to tuck into the chocolate - I'll save that for this afternoon now!

    Right, better do some work.
