weren't down for long then?
Got straight home, put bins out, had a shower, put washing on, emptied dishwasher and put tea on. Spag bol tonight - got nothing great for pudding thou, just ice-cream and malteasers.
Really fed up with work so am going to take my annual leave before ML - I'm doing the job of the senior managers and even the bosses. I get allocated some work to do in Overtime and some within my own role, the dropped something on me today and when I said I couldn't do it ASAP they got funny.
Oh well, if you're struggling with the OT we'll take it off u - don't want u stressed while pg. But then they expect me to do the work in my own role meaning I need to work extra anyway!
I have the energy to do teh OT but planned to do it Sunday.
Going to have tea then snuggle with OH and watch some TV in bed!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Evening all,
Back from another long day at work. I cant even count down until my maternity leave as I'm not leaving until I 'pop', whenever that may be. I am like the big pink elephant in the room as no-one wants to acknowledge there is a heavily pregnant woman walking about. But today I think the partners suddenly realised that I am doing way too much and they have started to show concern. One of the partners asked if I wanted tea, coffee or water or anything at all from the cafe because he thought he saw me swaying when I went to get some documents from the printer. I didnt tell him that sadly the sway is actually a waddle and nothing to do with needing any food or drink, I just politely declined. Still, nice to know someone cares!!!
I have reached 35 weeks without having to buy large amounts of maternity wear as I managed to get away with large sized wrap dresses for work for most of it along with a rather stretchy skirt from when I was 5 stone heavier. Unfortunately, I cant even get away with them anymore as they have all been strestched to capacity. If I wasnt working to the end I wouldnt bother getting anymore maternity clothes because of the added expense but I havent got a choice now.
So, I have bought a couple of bits from ebay e.g next maternity wrap dress new with tags at 29.99, mine for the sum of £5.00. Arrived today and its lovely.
I also bought this dress. They only have size 18 left so I bought it and its roomy but adjustable. I love the colour too. http://www.melbamaternity.co.uk/shop/erol.html#861x0&&http%3A%252F%252Fwww.melbamaternity.co.uk%252F
Theres other stuff in the 'bargain basement', some still quite pricey though.
I then bought this dress this week for my 60s party but I liked it so much that I wore it to work. Its really lovely and a great fit. It was sent with a handwritten note wrapped really nicely in tissue paper with a burgundy ribbon and a lavender bag. I am e-mailing them about how impressed I am with the service as the item and the packaging were so lovely.

Again it was in the sale section and I would never have paid full price for it.
Wish I'd bought more right at the start so I could have got my moneys worth though!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0
