Hi all.. just dropping in quickly :)

Been out with OH looking for tiles and ideas. Think we've decided on something but want to wait until the kitchen units are in then get some big sheets of paper and plan them out first - I've never picked tiles before and I don't want to make a mistake and hate them once they're up! :o

We're off out for steak and chips at a local pub then nipping to the Tesco nearby to buy kitchen knives! I hate sharp knives, part of the reason I don't do much cooking, but OH wants some new ones so he's having them as a treat - I have a £6 off a £40 spend voucher which needs using by tomorrow and the set he wants is £47 I think.

Also got to order his other treat - a new tool box! - online later. We're on a mission to remember to buy anything that can wait online so I can check first if we can get Quidco cashback on it! ;)

Righty, steak and chunky chips await.. :D TTFN xx

I just junked half my clothes. You know the ones you keep but never wear? Don't suit you, are soooo last year or like mine, have bleach stains. Now I'm debating attempting to make a patchwork quilt with them...

Kids are doing nowt but fight and moan, it is not my fault that it is raining!

I'm stiff and sore and want a bath.

DH will be home soon though.

Was just seeing the news on Shell, hope she has baby in arms by now.
Been busy today in the bedroom (nope, you dirty minded lot not that kind of busy:p) Ive packed all my jeans, trousers, skirts, tops ect..away in vacuum sealed bags that don't fit now and stored them away under the bed. I don't expect to be dragging them out again for at least a year from now.
Made up a lasagna and chips for tea,yum yum. Maybe go look round a car boot tommorow if it isn't raining.
1 week tommorow till my gender scan :j OH's mum and nanna have made it obvious they hope it's a girl. A girl would be fantastic but in my heart Im feeling it's a boy.
love my little man he is amazing :j

Hugs to Sugar. That is pretty rough. I think you need to forget about the a*se and what he said as he is clearly not worth bothering about, but it's more difficult to deal with your friends. x

Vacuum bags seem a good idea for packing away clothes and I have seen a few people on here mention them. Any idea where is the cheapest place to buy them?

Hmm, I don't think we have Home Bargains up here. Will go and check. £2 sounds a good price though. When I looked on the web before, they were much dearer, but then I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for. Thanks JM.

ETA - there does seem to be a few in some shopping centres actually. I have only ever heard of HB on here and thought it was English. Thanks!

Again, I think they might be new up here as I have never seen any of their shops, but OH said they might have taken over Au Naturale shops up here. Thanks, will check it out.

Molly - have you had your dinner yet? I am still jealous.

I am meant to be making a steak pie for our dinner, but OH has siliconed behind the kitchen sink and the smell makes me want to throw up. NMS has put me in the mood for Pizza Hut now! Meant to be trying to save money though. Hmmmm...

Argos had them on offer a few weeks ago when I got mine. Not sure what they are like for full price ones though. I thoroughly recommend them- they do save tons of space. I have loads of smart clothes vacuum packed under the bed!
