Its really quiet isn't it...tumble weed rolls across the screen...

Just been getting some inspiration on the eBay thread, I have found something else to sell, but just can't get motivated to list them, I will make myself do it this week.
Just been clearing out the understairs cupboard, we found our small change pot. Its just been sat there since we moved in and we have just kept adding to it - there was a whole carrier bag full of bagged change as well....The Total: £165 . I couldn't believe how much was there, It would have been spent long ago if I had found it before! :D

Quiet today, phew, easier to catch up.

Nursery almost finished, well the building part anyhow. Now we need the furniture! Kept watch all day in case of news from Shell.

Ooh I'm jealous. I want someone to cook for me tonight! Alas I'm home alone and really need to do some batch cooking but I am just so tired. OH is at work all night so I either need to cook for myself or not eat...I think I know which will win out. I do have lots of yummy ingredients in though so should just get on with it.

Picked up a gorgeous brand new padded baby jacket 3-6 months today in a charity shop for £1. It is so cute so have added it to the box of bits my step-sister sent last weekend. Also a lovely skirt for me which doesn't do up, but will be going on eBay when I do my next batch on there!

Ben just decided to use his fingers rather than a brush to paint his box thingy ( making a helmet). Bit of a mess, never mind, just said he'll be doing a show for us later when it's dry, obviously intends to dance with it on his head!!!

Ickle - good to see you: hope everything is going well!

thanks for the replies about the vouchers: there was nothing like that in the Bounty bag I got - I had to pick up from the hospital, nothing was given by the midwives. I have registered with Bounty online though, so maybe worth a shot? Just sounded like a good deal :D

Today was not as productive as it could have been - we're going to use tomorrow as our 'getting things done' day. Hubby and I went to the cinema to see the new Star Trek movie, which we both enjoyed. I really wanted icecream with chocolate sauce but the line was huuuuuge at the stall so had to settle for pringles instead: I have icecream here (of course) so will content myself with that later :)

my mum works (volunteer) for the charity shop 'war on want' in ireland, so i'm going to get her to get me some baby stuff. they get allsorts and sometimes they still have the labels on. cos she's a helper she gets to sort out all the donations etc and have a good rummage through.
