OOh DS friend has just knocked, so he's gone out to play. That now means i have no excuse not to do the ironing. Apart from the fact that i'm pooped and can't be bothered. Think i'll go for a shower see if that refreshes me.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Back from the NCT sale, I can't beleive how busy it was! Got some lovely bargains though, nice clothes, and a mamas and papas Millie and Boris moses basket and stand for £30, it looks brand new! Love it...
Oh and a baby bjorn carrier for a fiver!0 -
Elle, I still get random bouts of ms hun. It's pretty common for it to come back, sorry!
It's raining pouring outside here, house looks all dark and cold, so the kids are bored. Will get the craft stuff out for them and task them to make a scrapbook to take on holiday with us (one week today and we should be arriving around now), while I do the ironing (eurgh ironing).0 -
Is SAMI about this morning?
Just wanted to let her know my Joe Browns order arrived earlier. The cardi is lovely, strange - but really nice.
The way its shaped, you'll probably be able to wear it with your bump - and its ace for b/f! I'm wearing it now, over a plain vest top. Vest top up, cardi across and boobie is out for baby, and no spare boobie for others to see.:beer:0 -
All caught up with the thread now!
Good luck shellsuit, I hope you have a baby in your arms already!
On the RLT debate, I asked my midwife at my last appointment when I should start taking it and she said not 'till 37 weeks . I was going to start at 34, but I am now considering waiting a while longer.
I am having a relaxing birthday weekend (It is my birthday tomorrow!). DH is cooking some of my favourite things this weekend, eventhough some of it is forbidden foods :shhh:.
Tonight it is a starter of scallops with bacon and black pudding salad followed by rib of beef with all the trimmings. Tomorrow, we will go to our favourite restaurant for lunch and dh is making caramilised onion and goats cheese tarts for supper, yum! So I won't have to cook all weekend, yay!!Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

Hey ladies,
No news on Shell yet then? Hope all is good.
Elle - hope your sickness is just a blip. I have been lucky not to have any up until now (21 weeks) so I am assuming that I have passed that stage. Must be maddening if you think you have had your share and it returns!
Molly - Happy Birthday for tomorrow. Your dinner sounds fabulous, I am so jealous!!! We will be having steak pie and mash for dinner! Nice winter food, since the weather is so bad here. It's been torrential rain and wind all week! Feels like November.
Hoping Mrs Moc is ok as not seen her on for a few days I don't think.0 -

Hiya 3I think Sami said Chris was at her mum's last night so she's probably having a lie-in
I'd been looking at that cardi.. hadn't thought about it for b/f, but now I might just be convinced.. *wanders off to JB website*
ETA: In case anyone missed it (or if it was on the Parent Thread I saw you talking about it.. me? lurking? never!), this is the cardi we're talking about

Hey ladies,
Back from morning chores. I went into Mothercare and they were doing 10% off when you sign up for one of their account cards and buy something over £50. I don't advocate the old c cards but if you're buying a big item you might get a good saving.
Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy Humphrey's corner items. We were looking at this style today and I think it's lovely.?

Afternoon everyone,
Good luck Shell, I have my fingers crossed for you that you have your beautiful little baby in your arms already! Same goes for you Clare (haven't seen you post for a bit)
Sorry to hear about your eye Sugar, it must be scary to be so allergic to something like that - hope it feels better soon and you can get back to your cleaning!
Have a fab and relaxing birthday tomorrow Molly! :bdaycake:
I'm still here 40+4 today, absolutely no hints or signs - first time in my life I've been jealous reading about other's dia-woo-woo's and belly pains :rotfl: - behave yourselves you lot, you've got aaaaages to go!
I was secretly hoping last night's full moon might have some effects on shifting my squatter. I'm getting a bit nervous about my sweep on Tuesday, I've got no real idea what's involved and I'm not sure that googling it is a good idea - it didn't do much to allay my nerves with the ECV! - Anyone had one who wouldn't mind telling me what happens? Midwife is coming to me, I don't even know where she'd want to do it... sofa, bed? Do I need to put a towel down? I'm overanalysing aren't I?
Also wanted to let you know that I bought my Angelcare Nappy wrapper thingamabob off Argos with the Bounty voucher from the first pack which gives £20 off. I reserved it online and added the refill cassette to my order at the same time. At the moment, you can buy both together for a grand total of £29.99 - using the voucher brings the cost down to £10. But for some reason it went through the 'till at £5 for both :T:confused: She double checked it (whilst I had my fingers crossed behind my back!) and it came up with the same result again. I nearly sprinted out of there with my bargains (not an easy feat at this stage of pregnancy!). Hope that's useful to someone anyway.
Labour vibes to everyone that wants them! Thanks for keeping me sane ladies :Adon't blow out other people's candles to make your own burn brighter...0 -
