With DD I paid £150 for 7 x 2 hours sessions with a woman who was ex-NCT. It was worth it for us as we met some nice people who we are friends with now and who will be sending their children to the same school as our DD. I woudln't do it again for this baby but it was nice. I wouldn't want to go to the ones in from the hospital as, in London, the people I might meet might live too far away from where we are (as I have opted for a hospital which is 'out of area' in a different borough even though it is only 3 miles down the road!). I would recommend doing one ante-natal set of classes but up to you as to which one suits your circumstances.

How many people go to the NHS classes? We were 9 couples.

We did NHS classes a few weeks ago, 3 2 1/2 hour sessions, pretty much covered everything I thought... And an optional extra breastfeeding session which we didn't go to... (But it's my boss who run's it and I've been to loads of them over the years) I wouldn't think it worth paying the extra for private ones... But if you can afford it...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Congrats Kathy! :T

Shelvis - hope baby holds off for a couple of days.

Sami - I am due the day before my 1st wedding anniversary! If baby comes on time, I was thinking how DH can never whisk me away for a romantic anniversary weekend until kid is around 18!!!

I am only going to Parentcraft classes and this is my first. I would rather save the money for other things.

DH finished building the wardrobe for the nursery last night and it looks great (think it's the same one Krystal bought). Tonight we are putting up the border so we can move the wardrobe into place and put shelves up. It's a little bit early, but we have baby stuff lying in all of the other rooms, so just trying to get organised and move it all into the one room!

Off to try out Bejewelled on Facebook now. I love a challenge!
