Shell, it's the general blood pressure and wee dip appointment... Just ring the surgery, tell them you won't be able to make it and could they visit you at home... If they're that bothered about seeing you then I'm sure they'll fit you in...
I'm so tired, desperate to go back to bed... But the chemist is supposed to be dropping my iron tablets off this morning and I don't know what time...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Morning all,
Have eventually caught up after a weekend at the family pub in Suffolk. I very rarely drank alcohol before I was pregnant but found myself craving a gin and tonic. Think it will be my celebration drink once beanie is here.
Feels like time is really dragging now. I spend increasing amounts of time in beanie's nursery rearranging her toys and opening the drawers to look at all her clothes. I know in many ways I should be savouring these last 6 weeks of just being me and hubby but I now feel like life wont be complete until beanie is here.
Off to Ante-natal tonight for a women's only class. I am dreading being there without hubby. We rely on eachother so much that sometimes I find it hard to function when he is not there.
I rang him yesterday because I wasnt feeling too well and told him I had a stomach ache but it wasnt labour pains. Think he misheard me as he said 'what you have labour pain'. Think I better be careful how I word things when on a crackly mobile line, otherwise he will go into panic mode and I dont want to be responsible for the consequences of hubby in a panic!!!
Be back later hopefully xxxProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -

Thanks Krystal, I don't have a pot to pee in any way lol...I always forget to ask for another one once I've handed one in, doh!
I'll give them a buzz and let them know I won't be able to make it.
Can you not have a lie down on the sofa?? (Or is it really uncomfortable like it is for me?)
I want to go back to bed because my back is killing me, but we're waiting on about 6 parcels this week and it takes me about 10 minutes to get out of bed and down the stairs, so I don't want to miss any delivery men!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Shell why don't you stick a note on your door saying "I'm in but I am very pregnant and it takes me 5 minutes to get to the door so please ring the bell and hang on! I'm on my way!

Thanks Krystal, I don't have a pot to pee in any way lol...I always forget to ask for another one once I've handed one in, doh! I got my pot of pee back yesterday! Apparently it was such a clean sample I can just rinse the pot and use it again... I think it's just cos the midwife doesn't like me... It's mutual
I'll give them a buzz and let them know I won't be able to make it.

Shell - do you drink orange juice? I had some for the first time in ages the other day and it brought out the bum grapes big time that night. I have stuck to water since and they seem to have retreated again.0

agh, apparently they're doing emergency water works and have switched off the water in our building for the next 2 hours - not happy news for a pregnant lady with a bladder the size of a walnut!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

I'm so grateful I'm not suffering from bumgrapes... there is a deity somewhere that is smiling on me
No constipation either! Thank crunchie!
Although I think I've had my fair share of issues with this pregnancy :rotfl:
My wrists are hurting again - oh did I mention GP thinks it's partly my tendons being inflamed and partly carpal tunnel? At least that means SOME of the pain should go after roo arrives! Been told to just rest them as much as I can (HA!) and hang in there...
Took the hound for a quick walk in the village earlier - and I have decided I am going to be a miserable old biddy later - there is a house which is really close to the main road and there is a tiny patch of grass between the house and the footpath and someone has gone and parked their car there clocking the footpath! If you are walking singlefile you can just about get past but you'd never get a buggy past it and I had to wait for the traffic to pass to walk the dog past it earlier grrrr So am going to write a snotty note and leave on the windscreen I think!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! You should try walking where my sister lives Tine, they all park along the pavements there! There are no pavements on our estate... But they're all cul-de-sacs so people shouldn't be driving that fast round here anyway...
I'm also grateful for no bum grapes... But with Iron tablets in the offing I think the constipation might step up a gear after today... Hubby bought me a couple of cartons of orange juice yesterday to try and counteract the effects and help with the iron absorption... He also bought me a pineapple lol..A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

You tell 'em Mrs T. X
Well, after 4 attemps finally ordered cot bed, wardrobe and shelf. Seems that because we live on the county border the kiddicare website had one county and the bank another, so the card was rejected. Bank has sorted it, phew. After all the hassle about OH changing his mind about which cot bed I just wanted to get one. It's a babystyle one on 6-8 weeks delivery. Anyone know if they might come earlier?Too many children, too little time!!!0
