Good evening ladies and bumps!

I was in the pub - girls' night! It was fun, although the service was even worse than normal German standards and I managed a solitary Apfelschorle all night long because the waitress just was not interested.

Current plans that will last today and tomorrow:

bunch of work stuff
bunch of admin work stuff
organise certified translation of marriage certificate
finish packing hospital bag (very early but I feel the need to be prepared)
banking stuff
clear off area around desk

nag OH into:
cleaning out the fridge
clearing the living room so we can bring the piano out of storage
checking the mailbox to see where our deliveries from the UK are
mailing thank you notes
calling midwife and talking to her in German
etc

I find that posting a list makes me accountable, which means I get more done. Hurrah!

Right - I'm going to try and sneak my book out of the bedroom and have a hot bath Roo is doing her usual evening "zoom round mummy's belly" session but a bath usually calms her down so going to indulge in some radox bubbles

Looks fine to me. Good price too. I like the spring ones personally, always felt the foam ones get too hot. And if it has a proper plastic topping baby can get all sticky when it's warm, so that one is good if it is waterproof and washable.

wish i could have a nice baths for some reason ever since the shower got put in the bath water doesnt get hot enough but the shower water can burn you x

DH just got in & now out to collect DS from p/t job at sainsbug, so off to finish washing up that I didn't do before! Been organising hotel etc for when we go to Scotland to take dad's ashes to his childhood village, & ringing/emailing bodies about it all. Neck really stiff & eyes aching after so long on computer, so off for a drink & bed - night night insomniacs, hope all your bumps & aches & pains let you sleep tonight!
See you tomorrow - need to keep posting regularly so I can keep up with you all, need my virtual friends! :rotfl:
