just really annoying it wouldnt be so bad if we still lived in london but a 2hrs train ride for a newborn is just too much and OH is so unsure about going ive told him he can go if hes early but he doesnt want to miss anything .. bless him x

I have a midwife appointment at the hospital tomorrow to get my blood results. Do you think they will check Noogle's heartbeat? I will be 15+6. Could really do with the reassurance.

Only way to know is if you ask them jenny !!!
Tell them you are nervous and ask if it would be OK if they checked for you if they arent going to. Most MWs will be happy to do it.

I am sitting here trying to make a card for one of my friends, and was wondering.... are any of you planning on sending birth announcements, or thank you cards for all the presents you are going to get ?

Ask them to, jenny It shouldn't take two mins so it's hardly going to make your appointment overrun or anything.

Are you having the triple blood test for Down's etc? I went to my midwife at 15+3 for the test and that's the first time she offered to listen for Bob's heartbeat (although I've got a doppler at home too so had heard it).

Jenny, it's hard to say, some midwives will but some say it's too early...

Right, I'm in bed with my isplodge, just waiting for hubby to finish his shower and having lovely purry cuddles with my tabby... Catch you all tomorrow probably!
