a big THANKYOU to you all for these, especially those of you who took the time to include links, although they have given my husband some rather elaborate ideas for the bank hol weekend - yikes!!
He hasnt been out at all today, with all the rain, but I think what I will do is next time i see her give her our water sprayer and say hopefully this will discourage him from visiting her and suggest the hissing and shouting.
Would just like to add that we have lived here for six years, its a small cul-de-sac of 8 homes and we are fortunate to back onto some lovely open countryside obviously there are other cats, they dont seem to be interested in her house though. In all the time we've been here she has admitted to me that she has reported several people to different 'authorities' over children and pets and moans when people park outside their own drives on the road, even though it causes no-one else any obstruction!!!! I just try and keep the piece to be honest, havnt got time with any of this and say hello to everyone lifes to short etc etc!
Great reading all of your posts, glad it sparked some interesting points
Will keep you all updated as and when with kittengate0 -

:rotfl: haha I like it!
BE warned though - putting a bit of extra something on the fence will only make her moan about something else - liek you're obstructing the view with the mesh, or blocking her light.
Sounds like she just likes something to moan about, if it were me I'd keep her happy by leaving her with something to moan about.
btw tell her she must stop her kids from talking to the cat when it comes in, that's probably why it goes round there, cos it knows it has more little friends to play with through the fence!!Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Just to let you know that there is nothing in law to say you can't block someones light. Therefore if you make the fence higher and it blocks the light then tough luck. No-one has a right to sunlight.0 -
If you have a panel type fence you could nail prikka strip to it.
