End the discrepancy where all UK taxpayers pay for some to get free university education (eg Scotland), free prescriptions, or free old-age care. If we all pay for them, we should all be entitled to the same benefits.

All lending to be unsecured except 1st mortgage on home one lives in.

That includes companies who use shares to guarantee loans.

    No more equity loans...nothing.

Most borrowers intend to repay...but some will default. Up to the banks to work out the risk cost to themselves and price that cost into the loan.

2; no variable rates throughout life of loan. Starting int rate is the one for the term. Fixed in stone.

Reintroduce security of tenure for private tenants - it's a gross discrepancy that homeowners who don't pay their mortgages are being subsidized by all taxpayers to stay in their homes for up to 2 years, whilst tenants who do pay can be kicked out with only 2 months notice - or less if the landlord is renting without pemission.

Private tenants have families too - why do their children not have the same rights to enjoy a childhood without fear of being on the streets at the whim of a landlord, as homeowners and council tenants do?

Introduce criminal proceedings for MPs or Members of the Lords found offering parlimentary favours for cash. Plus Lords should lose their peerages and be chucked out.

    1) Increase the personal tax allowance.
    2) Simplify the tax system as there are too many loopholes that can be exploited by a good tax accountant.
    3) People earning over 50,000 a year cannot have a tax accountant.

Airlines must put all their charges into the prices quoted and not add on any extras - despite existing legislation, easyjet still cheats & automatically adds on extra charges eg for suitcases, and insurance, which have to be manually removed - if you spot them.

It's currently almost impossible to meaningfully compare utility companies eg gas/electricity as they all have different structures for their tariffs, with different rates kicking in at different numbers of units etc.

There needs to be a single standard so people can compare costs.

Title says it all - Govt takes the money off you, doesn't seem to effect the benefits you get. Would reduce the opportunities for individuals to incorporate as companies to avoid tax and would allow effective tax rates to be streamlined and make it easier to reduce high effective marginal rates for low earners.
    I think....

Heavy taxes on moving (stamp duty) prevent people moving unless the market is rising strongly.

Housing tends to outperform as the supply is limited. It is unfair that homeowners benefit from this exclusively, some of the gain should be shared with the country as a whole.
    I think....
