    this is the small size you need 2.8mm

    and the larger size will be 6.3mm

    and make sure its the red ones as they are suitable for smaller wire like speaker cable

    Well, I now have the speakers installed most successfully. My Dad insisted on doing most of it for me, after I told him what needed doing (which I didn't really mind as he's much better at DIY than me!) and I did unfortunately give in to getting the spades from Halfords as they were there.
    The difference is really noticeable, so much better, I'm really pleased.
